Common questions about Aging Analysis

How does InvenPro know when stock arrived?
Age is calculated from the receive date recorded on the Goods Received Note (GRN) when the PO was received. Opening stock balances default to your account activation date.
What is the 180+ bucket for?
The 180+ day bucket flags potential dead stock — items that have been sitting for 6+ months with no movement. These need clearance or write-off consideration.
Can I see aging by individual product?
Yes. Click any row in the aging report to drill into the product detail view, showing the full receiving history and velocity over time.
Is aging available by warehouse?
Yes. The aging report can be filtered by individual warehouse or viewed in consolidated mode across all locations.
